Renowned for its exceptional service and exquisite dining experience, The Pacific Club has long set the highest standard for private clubs on the island. It features versatile meeting rooms, outdoor event spaces, and a range of athletic facilities, including paddle tennis and pickle ball courts, a temperature-controlled swimming pool, and a well-equipped fitness center. The club also boasts an extensive wine selection, a distinguished art collection, and a team of warm and attentive staff dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality. This unique blend of amenities and personalized service creates an atmosphere where members can conduct business or unwind with family and friends in utmost comfort and style.

The Food Runner/Busser position at The Pacific Club is pivotal in maintaining the excellent dining service the club is known for. This hourly, non-exempt role, with a competitive pay rate of $17-$19 per hour based on experience, requires a dynamic individual who embodies the club’s core values of Teamwork, Mutual Respect, Positive Attitude, Communication, and Leaving Lasting Impressions. The Food Runner/Busser acts as a crucial liaison between the kitchen and the servers, ensuring a seamless flow of food service in the dining and banquet areas. Key responsibilities include prompt and polite delivery of food to members and guests, setting up and breaking down service stations, clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining environment.

In addition to these duties, the role demands strict adherence to alcohol service laws and club policies, quick and courteous response to members and guests, and effective communication with supervisors to address any service issues immediately. The work schedule is flexible with a necessity to accommodate weekends, holidays, evenings, and extended hours driven by business demands. The position also requires physical stamina such as the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, carry trays, and work in varying environmental conditions including hot and noisy settings.

Beyond the day-to-day duties, The Pacific Club offers an inclusive and core values-driven environment emphasizing both individual and collective success. Employees have access to professional development resources, mentorship, and tools to elevate their skills and contributions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering excellent service, working collaboratively in a team, and contributing positively to a prestigious private club.
