Located in the heart of Honolulu, this open-air club provides members and their guests a serene oasis accentuated by exceptional dining options, athletic facilities, versatile meeting rooms, and outdoor event spaces. With a strong commitment to outstanding service, The Pacific Club has earned a reputation for its exquisite culinary experiences, extensive wine selections, distinguished art collection, and warm, attentive staff. The club’s amenities include paddle tennis and pickleball courts, a temperature-controlled swimming pool, and a well-equipped athletic facility, making it an ideal destination for both professional gatherings and leisurely activities. The Pacific Club fosters a community atmosphere where members feel valued and supported, grounded in its core values of Teamwork, Mutual Respect, Positive Attitude, Communication, and Lasting Impressions.
The Food Runner/Busser at The Pacific Club plays an essential role in delivering prompt and courteous service to members and guests, acting as the vital link between the kitchen and serving staff. This hourly, non-exempt position, paying between $17 and $19 per hour based on experience, requires flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, lunch, and evenings. The role involves delivering food trays efficiently to tables, assisting with beverage service, maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of service stations, and supporting the overall dining experience by clearing and resetting tables promptly. Beyond routine duties, this position demands adherence to strict food safety standards, compliance with alcohol service laws, and responsiveness to member and guest requests or complaints. Employees in this role are expected to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to event setup and breakdown as required.
The position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in varying environmental conditions such as heat and noise. The Pacific Club’s dedication to its employees extends beyond the workplace by offering comprehensive benefits for eligible staff, including full health, dental, and vision premium coverage for employees with partial dependent coverage, paid vacation and holidays, bonuses, free parking, and access to professional development opportunities. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a dynamic work environment within a respected private club that values high standards of service and community engagement.
