Job Requirements
- Food handler certification
- alcohol awareness certification
- ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time
- ability to perform reaching and stooping motions repeatedly
- visual ability needed to accurately measure ingredients for mixing drinks
- capability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment involving constant public
- requires standing, walking, and lifting a minimum of 20lbs repeatedly
- availability for shifts that may vary based on business needs
- ability to handle intoxicated guests in a professional manner
- ability to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke
Job Qualifications
- Work requires 6 months previous food server/running experience
- work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner
- must present a neat and professional appearance
- work requires interactions with customers, public and co-workers
- work requires teamwork with other staff members
- extensive knowledge of food and beverage products
- ability to perform basic/intermediate math skills
- ability to read, write, and understand English
- ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests, staff and management
- knowledge, understanding and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels and other instructions
Job Duties
- Serve food in a timely manner
- ensure food order is correct before serving to the guests
- monitor tables closely and be attentive to guests’ needs
- describe in detail the preparation methods and ingredients of all the menu items
- carry multiple dishes (up to 3 at one time) in one hand without tray service
- passionately inform guests about Gordon Ramsay, his history, and current business endeavors
- refresh flatware after each course or upon guest request
- maintain a clean and organized work area/station
- ensure work area/station is clean and stocked at all times
