The Food Runner/Expo role at Din Tai Fung plays a vital part in delivering excellent dining experiences to guests by promptly running food to tables, packing takeout orders efficiently, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Expo Station and Takeout Packing Stations. Staff in this role are expected to follow the restaurant's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) rigorously to ensure consistency and quality in every interaction. While prior experience is preferred, it is not mandatory; the restaurant values a positive and professional attitude along with the ability to stand for long periods during shifts. This role requires excellent teamwork, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a busy dining environment. Candidates will undergo a required one-way video interview process as the initial step, highlighting the restaurant's commitment to a thorough and fair selection process.
