The Food Runner/Busser at the St. Anthony Hotel plays a vital role in ensuring total guest satisfaction by maintaining a seamless dining environment and assisting servers with outstanding table service. This is an exciting, fast-paced role ideal for an outgoing and energetic individual who thrives in customer service. Responsibilities include setting up and clearing tables, keeping service stations fully stocked with silverware, linens, and condiments, and providing timely assistance with food service during all meal periods. In addition, the role extends to supporting In-Room Dining operations, including setting up and breaking down trays, which requires a high level of organization and attention to detail.
An ideal candidate for this position possesses prior experience in a similar role, holds required certifications such as Food Handlers and TABC, and demonstrates reliability with consistent attendance. The Food Runner/Busser must be comfortable working mornings, weekends, and holidays to meet the demands of the hospitality industry. The role demands efficiency and agility to clear and reset tables quickly and ensure cleanliness and order in the dining areas. Job Duties
- Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting
- promptly and consistently reset all service ware as prescribed
- maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments
- serve guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary
- transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning
- comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
- assist with In-Room Dining daily duties and functions
- perform any other job-related duties as assigned
