Within this vibrant environment, the role of a Food Runner is crucial. Food Runners assist servers and bartenders in delivering a seamless and exceptional dining experience for guests. Food Runners at Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center are essential team members who help maintain a smooth operation by coordinating timely delivery of food orders, supporting table setup and clearance, and ensuring guest needs are met promptly and professionally. This job is part-time, with shifts varying between 8 to 29 hours per week, including early mornings typically from 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Candidates must be flexible to work during peak event times such as Texas A&M football games, Ring Days, graduations, and other high occupancy periods. Compensation for this position starts at $9 per hour plus tips, paid biweekly. Job Duties

  • Assist servers and bartenders in fulfilling any guest needs
  • Assist in marking and pre-bussing tables
  • Liaison between the kitchen and the public areas for the outlets during service
  • Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table
  • Sanitize and clear tables promptly in an unobtrusive manner
  • Possess and utilize knowledge of all offered restaurant menus
  • Support in providing water and bread throughout the meal to the guest
