We are currently seeking a diligent and energetic Food Runner to join our team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in supporting our servers by delivering food to the correct tables promptly and accurately. This role involves closely coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure that each order meets our standards for accuracy, presentation, and temperature before it reaches the guest. The Food Runner will assist with clearing dirty plates and silverware, responding promptly to guest needs, and performing other tasks necessary for maintaining an efficient shift. In this position, you will need to have strong verbal communication skills, ample knowledge of our menu items, and the ability to move quickly without compromising quality. Physical stamina is important as the job requires standing for extended periods, moving throughout the restaurant constantly, and carrying items weighing up to 20 pounds. Experience in a high-volume restaurant setting is advantageous and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Job Requirements

- 1-2 years of experience in food service or hospitality field
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to walk and move around the restaurant for the majority of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to hold warm plates to deliver food promptly

Job Duties
- Check food for accuracy, presentation and temperature prior to removing it from the window
- Communicate with all parts of the kitchen so food ticket is executed correctly
- Deliver food to tables promptly
- Answer questions about the food if guest asks
- Pre-bus soiled plates from guest tables
- Tidy work stations and expo area
- Understand restaurant layout in order for food to be delivered correctly
