The Food Runner position at Delaware North Sportservice within Little Caesars Arena is a seasonal, tipped role with a starting hourly wage of $13.73. The role is central to ensuring food items are efficiently transported from the kitchen to guests, helping facilitate a seamless dining experience and supporting the kitchen and service teams. Food Runners work collaboratively with chefs, servers, and kitchen staff to uphold quality standards and timely service. This position offers individuals the opportunity to develop their skills through training and mentorship programs, gaining valuable experience in a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality setting.   • At least one year of experience or training as a runner or busser with a similar style of dining, capacity, and volume preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Attend pre-shift briefing, taking note of important service information
  • Collaborate with chef, kitchen team members, and servers to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food
  • Assist with the presentation of courses
  • Complete any required table-side service, including taking and delivering orders and explaining the menu to guests
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparations
  • Identify menu items and ingredients by appearance
  • Maintain kitchen and dining room cleanliness and organization
