We are currently seeking a dedicated Food Runner to join our Bianca family, someone who is passionate about food and hospitality and thrives in a team-oriented environment. The Food Runner role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of dining service by ensuring food quality, timely delivery from kitchen to table, and clear communication between kitchen and service staff. This position carries the responsibility of upholding cleanliness, resetting tables efficiently, and supporting the service staff by restocking and managing service stations. Successful candidates will be adaptable, willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, and must adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines set nationally, locally, and by the restaurant itself. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Willingness to comply with safety and sanitation regulations
  • Reliable transportation or ability to commute to the restaurant
  • Availability to work flexible hours
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Basic knowledge of health and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Ensure order quality and take food from the kitchen to its respective tables
  • Communicates to the service staff any requests or needs of the guest
  • Remove dishes, silverware, glassware and all other items when guests are finished
  • Thoroughly clean and reset tables
  • Set up and restock service stations, tableware, glassware, ice and other items needed for service
  • Follows all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines as specified by the restaurant
  • Additional duties as assigned
