Job Description

Snooze is a vibrant full-service breakfast restaurant dedicated to creating a unique and enjoyable morning experience for every guest. Known for their warm and welcoming atmosphere, Snooze strives to make every morning feel like a blend of a relaxing weekend and an exciting happy hour, regardless of the time of day. The restaurant prides itself on serving a wide variety of delicious dishes, most famously their extensive pancake offerings, which are prepared with inventive twists that make their menu stand out. This distinctive approach to breakfast dining has made Snooze a beloved spot for regulars and newcomers alike, emphasizing authenticity, community, and extraordinary culinary craftsmanship.

As a Food Runner at Snooze, your role is integral to maintaining the flow and quality of service within this bustling breakfast establishment. You will act as the vital link between the kitchen and the guests, ensuring that every plate leaving the kitchen meets Snooze's high standards for preparation, presentation, and timing. You will deliver dishes promptly while engaging with guests to ensure that all their needs are met, contributing to a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. This position offers an excellent hourly rate between $13.80 and $15.50, complemented by generous tips, reflecting the value placed on the role and the commitment expected from team members.

Your responsibilities will include garnishing plates according to the restaurant's Food Doctrine, managing food supplies at various stations to support smooth service, along with the proper handling, storage, and rotation of food products. You will also follow detailed opening and closing procedures that ensure the heart of the house operates efficiently and consistently meets company standards. The environment here is fast-paced, fun, and energetic, requiring team members to be highly communicative, physically capable, and enthusiastic about teamwork and delivering memorable guest experiences.

At Snooze, they not only focus on offering excellent employment compensation but also prioritize the wellbeing of their employees. Full-time team members benefit from a complete range of insurance plans including medical, dental, and vision coverage after one year of steady employment. Additional perks such as flexible spending accounts, accident and pet insurance, and access to telehealth programs further illustrate their commitment to employee health. There are also financial benefits like traditional and Roth 401(k) plans, a weekly pay schedule, and a unique $15 per shift allowance to enjoy Snooze's breakfast and café offerings.

Furthermore, Snooze provides a supportive workplace culture with specific policies like no late-night shifts, ensuring employees get home by dinner time, paid volunteer days, birthday meals on the house, and closure on major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Opportunities for personal and professional growth through development and advancement programs are also available. The team environment is lively, with a spirit of camaraderie marked by regular dance parties that make working at Snooze both rewarding and fun.

In summary, joining Snooze as a Food Runner means becoming part of a dynamic breakfast restaurant that values quality, community, and its employees. You will be essential in facilitating an excellent dining experience from kitchen to table while enjoying a comprehensive benefits package and supportive workplace culture designed for your success and satisfaction.
