Job Description
The Greenleigh River Oaks is an upcoming luxury hospitality establishment set to open in Summer 2026 in Houston, Texas. This sophisticated venue is designed to blend the natural beauty of its surroundings with the energetic urban vibe of the city. Positioned in a prime location adjacent to the scenic charm of River Oaks and the dynamic Uptown district, The Greenleigh aims to provide an urban oasis that appeals to both sophisticated travelers and local residents seeking a refined yet creative environment. At the heart of its service philosophy is a commitment to celebrating and elevating the unique and unexpected character of Houston, delivering an experience that is both memorable and exceptional.\n\nAs a part of the Makeready collection, The Greenleigh embodies a thoughtful approach to hospitality that emphasizes not only the quality of its offerings but also the well-being and satisfaction of its staff and guests. The property's culinary and guest service teams work seamlessly together to ensure that every moment, especially every meal, is an opportunity to create lasting positive impressions. The Greenleigh is more than just a hotel; it is a destination where natural elegance meets contemporary urban style, and where every guest is treated to a personalized, attentive dining experience in an inspiring setting. The venue fosters creativity and innovation, making it a standout destination in Houston's competitive hospitality market.\n\nWe are currently seeking energetic and detail-oriented Food Runners who will play a vital role in the dining operations. These team members are essential in bridging the gap between the kitchen and front-of-house services, ensuring that food orders are delivered promptly, accurately, and with exceptional care. The Food Runner position is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, have a keen eye for detail, and possess a guest-focused attitude. This role requires close collaboration with servers, bartenders, and culinary staff to maintain efficiency and high standards of food presentation.\n\nFood Runners at The Greenleigh are responsible for not only speedy and accurate delivery of dishes but also for enhancing the overall dining experience by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with table maintenance, and responding attentively to guest needs. The position demands physical stamina, excellent communication skills, and a professional demeanor. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a must, as is the commitment to uphold all food safety and sanitation standards. Joining The Greenleigh means becoming part of a vibrant team that values creativity, dedication, and the mutual goal of providing an exceptional hospitality experience. With competitive benefits that support health, family, and financial well-being, this role offers an exciting opportunity to advance a career in the hospitality industry within a prestigious and growing brand.
