As a Food Runner at Marcus Theatres, you will play a vital role in supporting the service team and enhancing the overall guest dining experience. This position involves working in a professional bar and restaurant environment where the focus is on providing high-quality food and efficient, friendly service. The Food Runner is responsible for setting up and maintaining the food service stations, assisting servers and kitchen staff, and ensuring that all customer needs are met promptly and courteously. The role also involves communication between management, kitchen associates, servers, and customers to smooth operational flow and satisfy special guest requests. Through a fully paid accelerated training program, new associates are equipped with the skills necessary to perform their duties effectively and become valuable members of the Marcus Theatres family.

Job Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be at least 18 years old
- physically able to stand and walk for extended periods
- able to lift up to 25 pounds
- reliable transportation
- willingness to learn and take direction
- basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not required
- strong communication skills

Job Duties
- Set up all garnishes for dishes
- assemble trays and stock bread
- polish silverware
- responsible for set-up and break-down of station at the beginning and end of shift
- assist with special guest requests to ensure total guest satisfaction
- communicate with servers and kitchen associates to ensure total guest satisfaction
- serve food to tables if needed
- assist with bussing duties if needed
- remove all dirty dishes from kitchen and or server areas
- maintain standard of plate presentation
- maintain condition and cleanliness of work area
- perform other duties as assigned
