Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform moderate physical work and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, stand, push, lift and grasp for extended periods
  • Good organizational and verbal skills
  • Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical skills
  • Must comply with safety protocols including restrictions on using ladders over 8 ft and prohibited areas
  • No direct reports

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be dependable
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral communication and listening skills
  • Ability to follow directions

Job Duties

  • Match order tickets with prepared food items and sides once completed by kitchen line staff
  • Check presentation of plates for neatness and inclusion of all ordered items
  • Monitor food quality and return sub-standard items to the kitchen
  • Serve beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely manner
  • Communicate with service staff to inform them of orders that have been delivered or returned
  • Keep orders in sequence to ease service process
  • Keep workstations well stocked of items and ingredients
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Provide prompt and efficient customer service
  • Check back to ensure guest satisfaction and replenish items as necessary
  • Keep tables, dining room and workstations sanitized and organized
  • Listen and respond to customer complaints
  • Perform clean-up and closing procedures as assigned
  • Perform other duties as required
