We are currently hiring for the position of Food Runner, a vital role that supports both the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth and efficient service. The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders to tables promptly, maintaining the quality and presentation of dishes as they move from the kitchen to our guests. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the physical stamina to manage the demands of a busy restaurant environment. As the last staff member to handle the meal before it reaches the customer, the Food Runner plays a crucial role in upholding the high standards of food quality and timely service that our patrons expect.
In this role, you will not only deliver meals but also provide support to other team members by assisting with clearing and cleaning tables, maintaining cleanliness in both kitchen and dining areas, and returning used dishes to the kitchen. The position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to carry trays with food safely and efficiently, navigate tight spaces, and handle up to 50 pounds on occasion, sometimes ascending and descending stairs. Being able to stay nimble and adaptable under pressure is essential, as the pace of work can be hectic, especially during peak hours.
