The Food Runner is an integral role within Hard Rock Cafe, designed to support the smooth operation of the dining experience during peak business volumes. Food Runners ensure guests receive their orders promptly and accurately while assisting servers by responding to guest requests. This role demands a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable interaction with guests, emphasizing exceptional service throughout the dining experience. Key functions include delivering food quickly and efficiently, replenishing condiments and beverages including alcoholic drinks, handling guest inquiries courteously, managing guest concerns professionally, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in server alleys and expo areas. Additionally, the Food Runner supports the kitchen and front-of-house staff through clear communication and teamwork. This position requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while upholding Hard Rock's core values and mission. The role may involve cross-training in serving or bussing duties to enhance operational flexibility. Job Requirements
- Ability to move throughout the corporate office and cafes during visits including standing, walking, kneeling, bending
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Ability to make repeating movements with arms, hands, and wrists
- Ability to verbally express and exchange ideas and perceive sound by ear
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work with hands above shoulders
- Ability to occasionally move objects up to 10 pounds

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is beneficial but not required
- Ability to remain calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere
- Demonstrate a high level of organization and attention to detail
- Display a positive and friendly attitude towards guests and co-workers
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Job Duties
- Deliver food to guests quickly and efficiently
- Deliver condiments and drinks as needed including alcoholic beverages
- Refill beverages as needed
- Respond to guest inquiries courteously and politely
- Handle guest issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized server alley and expo area
- Stock ice and glassware on the server line
- Pre-buss tables
- Clean and reset dirty tables
- Sweep the floor
- Assist and communicate clearly with kitchen and front of house staff
