The Runner at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts plays a vital role in the seamless operation of the hotel, contributing directly to an exceptional guest experience. This position is dynamic and requires working across departments such as housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, and the front office to deliver essential items and support right where and when they are needed. The Runner is a key team player whose responsibilities include delivering items directly to guest rooms and assisting associates throughout the hotel to ensure fluid and efficient service operations. This position involves a great deal of movement and physical activity, including standing, walking, and navigating narrow or confined spaces. Runners must be proactive, attentive, and able to handle a variety of tasks such as lifting and carrying items weighing up to 55 pounds. They must maintain a professional appearance and communication style while adhering strictly to company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality guidelines.
