Job Description
Aramark is a global leader in food services and facilities management, serving millions of customers each day across 15 countries. With a strong commitment to service excellence and community engagement, Aramark focuses on making a positive impact not only on its clients but also on its employees, partners, and the environment. Rooted in a culture that promotes professional growth, passion cultivation, and talent development, Aramark offers rewarding career opportunities in a variety of dynamic environments, including corporate dining, healthcare, education, and sports and entertainment venues.
Aramark is currently seeking a dedicated Food Runner to join their kitchen team. This role is critical to maintaining smooth kitchen operations by assisting in food and meal preparation, managing cash receipts, and ensuring accurate meal records. The Food Runner works closely with the kitchen manager and other staff to guarantee that every meal served meets quality, safety, and hygiene standards. Responsibilities extend from preparing high-quality meals and baked goods to ensuring proper food storage and compliance with food safety protocols. The role also includes preparing daily reports, assisting with cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, and ensuring that all operational procedures are adhered to, including uniform and PPE policies.
Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, be able to follow written and verbal instructions effectively, and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. The Food Runner must be physically capable of performing duties such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods, while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. This position requires a food service certification and preferably a high school diploma or equivalent, although prior experience and the ability to work efficiently under pressure weigh heavily in candidate evaluation.
Joining Aramark as a Food Runner offers an opportunity to be part of a company that values service, growth, and community impact. Employees benefit from a supportive work culture where they can develop their skills and advance their careers within a global organization dedicated to making a difference, one meal at a time.
