We are currently looking to hire a reliable and service-oriented Food Runner to support our dining operations. The Food Runner plays a critical role in ensuring smooth service flow by delivering food orders promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests' tables while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and guest service. This position demands excellent attention to detail, speed, and strong teamwork skills. The Food Runner will contribute to the seamless coordination between kitchen and service staff, enhancing overall guest satisfaction with efficient service and clear communication.
The successful candidate will maintain a professional and positive approach while interacting with both coworkers and guests. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and professional appearance of the dining area, ensuring proper table settings are kept throughout service, and assisting servers and kitchen staff to maintain an uninterrupted dining experience. Additionally, the Food Runner is expected to comply with all nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards, respond promptly to guest requests, and support service operations during peak periods. This role also emphasizes maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information and adherence to company safety policies.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience or training required
- excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- ability to multitask in fast paced environments
- ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- strong work ethic and positive attitude
- current New Mexico Food Handler Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
- ability to work on feet for extended periods in a humid kitchen and dining environment and frequently lift push pull and carry up to 30 plus pounds

Job Duties
- Maintain a high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
- deliver food orders from kitchen to tables quickly and accurately
- comply with nutrition sanitation and safety standards at all times
- maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of the dining area
- maintain table settings by delivering courses replenishing utensils and being alert to beverage needs
- assist servers and kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow
- communicate clearly with kitchen and service staff regarding order status and guest needs
- support service operations during peak business periods
- respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
- follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- maintain a clean organized work area and professional appearance in compliance with uniform and grooming standards
- protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary client and guest information
- perform other duties consistent with the functions of this position as needed at the property
