In addition to food preparation, this role requires diligent attention to detail in serving meals on time, proper handling of cooking equipment, including maintaining sharp utensils, and enhancing the presentation of dishes through garnishing. The Food Runner also supports routine cleaning tasks essential to maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment. This includes cleaning refrigerators, freezers, cooking tools, steam tables, counters, and other appliances.
Physical demands of the position include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods, highlighting the role’s active nature. Adhering to the uniform policy and wearing prescribed personal protective equipment is mandatory to maintain safety standards.
The ideal candidate holds a Food Service Certification and demonstrates the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. They thrive under pressure, completing tasks efficiently and maintaining operational flow. While a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, it is not mandatory.

- Ensure proper and hygienic storage of food to prevent spoilage and contamination
