As an institution that values excellence and tradition, the St. Petersburg Yacht Club has established itself as a premier destination offering a unique blend of luxury, community, and outstanding hospitality. The club thrives on maintaining an excellent working environment and an extensive benefits package for its employees, which contributes to long-term staff retention and a positive workplace culture.
At the heart of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club’s success is its dedicated team of professionals who uphold the club's standards and contribute to its vibrant atmosphere. The Food Runner plays an essential role in this team by acting as the critical link between the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that food orders are delivered efficiently and accurately to guests. This position requires a hard-working and motivated individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
The Food Runner is responsible for assisting the food expediter, organizing condiments and to-go supplies, and supporting basic food preparation tasks. The role demands strong multitasking abilities, effective communication skills, and a good understanding of hygiene and food safety rules. The candidate must be physically capable of carrying heavy trays and flexible enough to work various shifts, including nights and weekends. By facilitating smooth communication between the Front of the House and Back of the House staff, the Food Runner ensures seamless operation and contributes to an exceptional dining experience.
This employment opportunity offers a chance to join a prestigious club with a supportive work culture. The benefits are dependent on the number of hours worked and include medical and dental insurance, paid time off, and more. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, kitchen experience, and a willingness to work hard in a dynamic team environment. If you are someone who enjoys contributing to high standards of service and being part of a respected establishment, this role will provide both personal growth and career development opportunities.
