Job Description

The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa, located in Savannah, Georgia, is a distinguished luxury resort known for its exceptional hospitality and commitment to guest well-being. As part of the globally recognized Marriott International family, The Westin strives to offer a unique blend of comfort, wellness, and premier service that guests can rely on for an unforgettable experience. The resort features world-class amenities including a championship golf course, a full-service spa, exquisite dining options, and scenic views of the Savannah River, creating an inviting environment for both leisure and business travelers. Working at The Westin means being part of a diverse and inclusive team dedicated to upholding the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

This part-time, non-management position as a Guest Service Support Expert at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa is pivotal in ensuring smooth dining operations within the Food and Beverage department. The role transcends the simple delivery of food and beverages; it centers around creating memorable and unique experiences that guests cherish. The Guest Service Support Expert takes initiative to facilitate operations by assisting in multiple areas such as setting tables, supporting kitchen staff, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in work areas. This dynamic position requires physical stamina and a hands-on attitude, as employees will spend most of their shifts standing, walking, and moving around to support various tasks efficiently.

The role demands adherence to comprehensive safety and quality standards, consistent professionalism in appearance and communication, and commitment to company policies. These attributes are essential for fostering a safe, respectful, and inviting atmosphere for guests and team members alike. The Westin values associates who are proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about the hospitality industry. Individuals in this role will have the unique opportunity to embody the brand's mission of enhancing guest well-being by contributing to an environment that empowers guests to be their best selves. Whether handling physical tasks such as lifting objects up to 25 pounds independently or working collaboratively to ensure timely service flow, the Guest Service Support Expert plays a critical role in the overall guest experience.

Ideal candidates for this position possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and preferably have previous experience in food and beverage service. While supervisory experience is not required, a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a service-oriented mindset are crucial. The Westin fosters an equal opportunity workplace where diversity, inclusion, and employee development are prioritized. The company champions wellness not only for its guests but also for its associates, encouraging a balanced approach to work and personal health. Employees are welcomed into a supportive global team where they can grow professionally while making meaningful contributions. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering exceptional guest service in a reputable and wellness-focused resort environment.
