As a Food Runner at Din Tai Fung, you play a critical role in enhancing the guest experience by ensuring dishes are delivered promptly and accurately from the kitchen to the table. Your responsibility includes bringing food to guests with care, attention to detail, and presentation consistency. In addition to guest service, you assist with packing takeout orders meticulously, maintaining cleanliness and organization at the Expo Station and Takeout Packing Stations. These duties are performed in strict compliance with Din Tai Fung’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring operational flow and guest satisfaction.
Working closely with servers and the kitchen team, you help maintain a seamless service flow, making sure each customer receives their meal promptly and correctly. This collaborative environment requires excellent communication skills, an energetic, positive attitude, and the ability to thrive under pressure. The pay rate is $17.87 per hour plus an estimated $11.50 to $12.25 per hour in tips, providing competitive compensation for your vital role in the restaurant’s success.
