Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 6 months of related experience in the hospitality industry preferred
- state-issued food handling certification as required
- ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace
- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- ability to speak effectively before guests and groups of co-workers

Job Duties
- maintain product knowledge to ensure the accuracy of recipes and notify guests of ingredients
- maintain product allergen knowledge and pay close attention to ensure accuracy and proper communication of dishes with allergen alerts
- prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware
- serve food or beverages to guests and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required
- verify that guests have proper dishware and utensils needed for the course upon delivery of food
- provide clear communication between front and back of house staff
- remove dishes and glassware from tables or counters and take them to the kitchen for cleaning
- clean tables or counters after guests have finished dining as needed
- stock area with dining supplies such as plates, utensils, glassware, and linens
- ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns
- inform immediate supervisor and apply corrective measures when necessary
