The Food Runner role at Auberge du Soleil is pivotal in maintaining the seamless operation of the dining room by ensuring that food orders reach guests quickly and accurately. As a Food Runner, you will directly contribute to the guests' dining pleasure by coordinating closely with kitchen staff and servers, managing the presentation of dishes, and supporting the overall service flow. The position requires an individual who is attentive, fast-paced, and capable of maintaining high standards under pressure. Tasks include ensuring all food is served according to safety guidelines, adding finishing touches to dishes, and helping maintain an orderly and stocked dining environment. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in customer service or a similar role preferred
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Must obtain Responsible Beverage Service Certification within 60 days of hire
Must obtain Food Handler's Certification within 30 days of hire

Responsible Beverage Service Certification can be obtained within 60 days of hire

Job Duties

Ensure that all orders are completed accurately, in time, and with the correct priority
Perform the finishing touches to completed dishes, such as adding garnishes and removing smudges
Assist servers, bartenders, and guests in the dining experience by taking orders and delivering requested items in an efficient and timely manner
Relate with guests about needs and satisfaction with the beverage and drinks, ensuring consistently caring and high-quality service
Operate, maintain, and properly clean all restaurant equipment and fittings
Ensure that the expediting area and restaurant outlets are tidy, organized, and well stocked at all times
Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards and check in with guests upon delivery of dishes to ensure they have everything they need
