Job Requirements

  • Food service certification
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and complete tasks quickly and accurately
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods
  • Adherence to uniform and personal protective equipment policy
  • Basic knowledge of food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality meals and baked goods according to the menu
  • Document and verify daily transactions and meal preparation activities
  • Ensure all meal components are properly accounted for and prepared
  • Store food hygienically to prevent spoilage and contamination
  • Serve food to customers following designated meal times and operational procedures
  • Properly handle and maintain cooking equipment, with care for sharp utensils
  • Ensure timely preparation of food and beverages for service
  • Use garnishes to enhance presentation of dishes
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen equipment
  • Adhere to all food safety protocols and ensure proper hygiene
  • Strictly follow uniform policy and wear required personal protective equipment
  • Coordinate menu preparation accurately with the manager
  • Maintain correct temperature control for stored and served food
  • Keep work and storage areas organized and sanitary
  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
  • Dispose of garbage properly and sanitize kitchen floors regularly
  • Assist with other kitchen tasks as assigned
