The Food Runner position at Zuzu is integral to maintaining the impeccable service standards for which the restaurant is known. Food Runners are responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of food items from the kitchen to guests, ensuring that each plate is served hot, clean, and accurately presented, aligned with the chef's intentions.   • Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, including table numbers and menu items

Job Duties

  • Verify all items before leaving the pass
  • Deliver plates as designed by the chef, maintaining temperature and presentation
  • Handle all plateware and glassware carefully and professionally
  • Move efficiently while maintaining control and awareness
  • Coordinate with servers and the expo chef to ensure proper pacing of courses
  • Announce dishes clearly when leaving the kitchen
  • Relay guest feedback, dietary notes, or timing adjustments promptly
