Acts Retirement-Life Communities is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join their team as Food Runners. This role is entry-level and requires no previous experience, offering on-the-job training to support career growth within the company. The Food Runner position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient dining service by supporting waitstaff with delivering beverages and meal items to guests in a timely and professional manner. This position is ideal for students or individuals seeking flexible schedules, as Acts provides student-friendly hours, scholarship programs, and referral bonuses. The company also offers next day pay through the PayActiv benefit, ensuring employees have quick access to their earnings. This arrangement makes the Food Runner role a great opportunity for those looking to balance work with other commitments such as education or family.

Team members at Acts enjoy an extensive benefits package that goes beyond standard offerings. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance covering medical, prescription, dental, and vision care, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability programs, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with a 4% company match after one year of employment, and paid time off including holidays. Additionally, employees have access to tuition reimbursement, commuter benefits, scholarship awards, professional development programs, university partnerships, referral and discount programs, appreciation events, and wellness initiatives. The company ensures that benefits eligibility may vary by employment status, but the overall focus remains on supporting the well-being and professional advancement of their team.

The Food Runner role offers competitive compensation starting at $15.68 to $21.17 per hour, with exact starting pay determined by the individual’s skills and experience. Younger applicants under the age of 18 must obtain a valid work permit if mandated by the state where they will be employed.
