Additional duties involve setting up tables before, during, and after shifts in preparation for upcoming diners, addressing any complaints or issues with a positive and professional attitude, helping the dishwasher when necessary to maintain kitchen cleanliness and order, and consistently using professional language with customers to uphold the restaurant's reputation. This role is physically demanding, requiring frequent standing, talking, and hearing, as well as the ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 30 pounds. The employee must also adapt to various work conditions including exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity, extreme cold, and frequent hand immersion in water and sanitation solutions.
