This role at Kimpton Hotels involves working as part of the restaurant team to deliver an outstanding dining experience for guests. As a key player in guest interaction and service delivery, you will ensure that all food items are served promptly, accurately, and courteously. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety in the restaurant workspace, supporting your coworkers, and contributing to a welcoming environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year of experience in a related or supportive role preferred
  • valid Food Handler Certification
  • valid Alcohol Awareness Certification if applicable
  • ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • ability to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests
  • knowledge of or willingness to learn Restaurant POS system
  • highly motivated and flexible with initiative
  • flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • One year of experience in a related or supportive role preferred
  • food Handler Certification required

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome restaurant guests
  • deliver food to tables promptly and at the appropriate temperature
  • deposit dishes in the dish-room or specified area
  • clean and set tables according to restaurant standards
  • empty trash containers regularly
  • stock bussing stations
  • learn and maintain product knowledge of food, wine, and beverage menus
  • clean stations including sweeping floors
  • perform buffet setup and refill as needed
  • assist in room service when required
  • assist other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary
  • attend all company and/or restaurant required trainings and meetings
  • communicate effectively with staff and management
