The Food Retail and Brand Location Supervisor at Aramark plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the food service environment. This position is responsible for supervising, training, and managing the food service team to meet brand standards and maintain high-quality service delivery. The supervisor ensures appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served consistently according to recipes and safety guidelines. They oversee the setup, breakdown, and sanitation of workstations to maintain a clean and hazard-free environment compliant with food safety standards.
In addition to managing daily operations, the supervisor maintains accurate inventory records in line with company policies and delegates tasks to team members to ensure efficiency and effective workflow. They also provide performance coaching and feedback, mentor new staff, and assist managers with employee counseling and timekeeping, fostering a positive working atmosphere. The role demands maintaining excellent customer service skills, upholding safety policies, and facilitating communication between staff and central office. The position requires adaptability to physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and extended periods of walking or standing while using personal protective equipment when necessary.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous supervisory experience preferred
- prior experience in food and hospitality industry required
- strong leadership skills
- ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing
- willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a supervisor in a related role preferred
- prior experience in the food and hospitality industry required
- ability to work successfully in a team environment and promote teamwork
- strong leadership, time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively use problem solving and decision-making skills
- basic computer skills and ability to quickly learn new technology systems
Job Duties
- Oversee setup, breakdown, and sanitation of workstations
- supervise the cooking and preparation of food items for the day according to recipes and brand requirements
- ensure that food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment
- maintain accurate inventory according to departmental policies and procedures
- delegate tasks to employees as necessary
- provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to staff members
- assist managers with employee counselling sessions, timekeeping, and maintaining up-to-date contact information
