The Food Retail and Brand Location Supervisor position at Aramark plays a critical role in managing and supervising food service operations within their food retail locations. This position is responsible for overseeing the preparation and serving of food according to established recipes and brand standards, ensuring that the customer experience is consistently positive. The supervisor is tasked with managing day-to-day operations such as setup, breakdown, and sanitation of workstations, maintaining food safety, and organizing a hazard-free environment. With a focus on leadership and teamwork, the supervisor trains, mentors, and coaches food service staff, delegating tasks effectively to maximize operational efficiency. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or hospitality industry
  • ability to supervise and lead a team
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull and stand for extended periods
  • willingness to adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
  • ability to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a supervisor in a related role preferred
  • prior experience in the food and hospitality industry required
  • ability to work successfully in a team environment and promote teamwork
  • strong leadership, time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively use problem solving and decision-making skills
  • basic computer skills and ability to quickly learn new technology systems

Job Duties

  • Oversee setup, breakdown, and sanitation of workstations
  • supervise the cooking and preparation of food items for the day according to recipes and brand requirements
  • ensure that food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment
  • maintain accurate inventory according to departmental policies and procedures
  • delegate tasks to employees as necessary
  • provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to staff members
  • assist managers with employee counselling sessions, timekeeping, and maintaining up-to-date contact information
  • train and mentor other food service workers
  • maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
  • adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
  • maintain communication with staff including central office staff, e-mail, phone calls, and inter-office mail
