The company fosters an inclusive work environment built on respect, diversity, and equal opportunity for all employees regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, military status, or protected veteran status. At Aramark, employees are empowered to develop their talents, fuel their passions, and grow professionally within a company that deeply values its people and partners.
The Food Retail and Brand Location Supervisor plays a critical role in Aramark's food service operations by overseeing the daily activities of food preparation and service to ensure adherence to brand standards and safety policies. This role is responsible for managing and training staff, ensuring food is prepared in appropriate quantities, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. The supervisor must ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company sanitation standards, promoting a workplace culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
As a Food Retail and Brand Location Supervisor, you will oversee the setup, breakdown, and sanitation of workstations to maintain a high level of cleanliness and operational readiness. You will supervise the cooking and preparation of food items according to specific recipes and brand requirements, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served. Maintaining accurate inventory levels in line with departmental policies is crucial, as is delegating tasks effectively to team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Providing ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members is a key responsibility to ensure staff develop their skills and deliver excellent customer service. You will also assist managers in counseling employees, managing timekeeping, and keeping contact information current. Excellent communication skills are essential to maintain coordination between staff and central office teams through email, phone, and other communication channels. This role demands a leader who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, employing problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle daily challenges while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor toward guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
The Food Retail and Brand Location Supervisor position requires physical stamina for activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and uniforms is required to comply with health and safety standards. The supervisor must also be proficient in basic computer skills and able to quickly adapt to new technological systems used for operations management.
