With operations in 15 countries, the company prides itself on its mission rooted in service, aiming to create positive impacts for its employees, customers, partners, communities, and the environment. Aramark values diversity, equal employment opportunity, and inclusion, ensuring a welcoming environment for all employees regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, military status, protected veteran status, or other characteristics protected by law.
The Management position at Aramark focuses on developing and executing innovative dining solutions that cater to customer needs and preferences. This role oversees dining operations where customers order prepared food from a menu, encompassing various front-of-house dining environments such as cafeterias, food courts, and quick-service restaurants. The manager plays a critical role in coaching and developing team members by leveraging Aramark's coaching model to unlock their full potential and enhance individual and team performance in alignment with client objectives and company standards.
In this management role, the individual is responsible for ensuring that all safety and sanitation standards are rigorously upheld across operations to provide a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees alike. Maintaining strong client and customer relationships is essential, fostering mutually beneficial business interactions through effective communication and responsiveness to client needs.
Financial stewardship is a vital component of the role, which includes managing profit and loss statements, delivering financial targets, monitoring order and inventory trends, and implementing cost controls to maximize margins. The manager adopts Aramark's operational processes and systems, utilizing performance metrics and data to educate teams and drive continuous improvement in service quality and profitability.
The responsibilities extend to supervising food production, quality control, and ensuring that all team members are well-trained and capable of executing their duties efficiently. This role also involves direct supervision of employees, including hiring, discipline, performance reviews, and pay adjustments, emphasizing leadership and team development.
Coordinating with internal departments and interfacing with vendors and key service users within the client organization are also key tasks, ensuring seamless operations and a unified retail experience for customers. The position demands flexibility, as job duties may evolve to meet changing business needs and to contribute positively to Aramark's service commitments.
Candidates for this management position should bring a wealth of experience, including at least four years in the food service industry with one to three years in a management role, preferably with retail experience. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, complemented by strong communication skills and the physical ability to undertake occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate is adept at delivering exceptional customer service through Aramark's standard service model, demonstrating a commitment to quality and operational excellence.
This role offers a dynamic and rewarding career path within a global company that supports professional growth, skill development, and community impact. Joining Aramark means becoming part of a service-driven culture that values innovation, teamwork, and respect, offering opportunities to make a significant and positive difference in customers’ dining experiences and the broader community.
