The role of Food Production Supervisor located in Minooka, Illinois, offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team within the food production and warehouse sector. Job Requirements

  • Able to work in spaces with 72 inches of headroom
  • tolerate refrigerated working environment with temperatures of 32 to 36 degrees Fahrenheit and variable ambient temperatures
  • able to stand for up to 2 hours over an 8-hour shift
  • occasionally work overtime, evenings, or weekends
  • ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs
  • ability to work varied schedules including weekends and early mornings
  • meet deadlines and handle difficult task assignments

Job Duties

  • Initial setup of process line
  • conduct morning roll call
  • conduct morning pre-operational inspection of processing room including ATP and allergenic swabbing
  • ensure correct rotation of ingredients using system program to relocate product from storage to pick line
  • orchestrate production and maintain optimal pace
  • focus on accurate production of finished goods
  • verify incoming raw materials and assure batch control records are complete
  • report any ingredient violations to QA
  • ensure production team follows specified recipe and uses correct ingredients
  • ensure assembly lines are constantly supplied with ingredients
  • minimize work in process at end of production day
  • perform weight checks for product weight verification with Line QA
  • confirm completion of QA line duties including check weights and metal detector verifications
  • store finished goods within temperature standards
  • supervise SKU changeover including cleaning and sanitizing
  • perform daily inspections for cleaning and sanitizing of work areas and equipment
  • perform daily inspection of employee PPE and personal hygiene standards
