As a strategic leader within the culinary team, the Food Production Manager will be responsible for implementing standardized culinary systems and procedures designed to enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency across the food service outlets. Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years management experience
- Minimum 1 year work experience in food or culinary services
- Experience managing a team in a high-volume food service environment
- Catering and kitchen experience
- Strong management skills
- Menu planning experience
- Proficient computer skills
- Highly organized
- Detail-focused
- Ability to set up processes and solve problems independently
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years management experience in a high-volume food service environment
- Minimum 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
- Strong management skills
- Menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends
- Proficient computer skills
- Highly organized and detail-focused
- Proven ability to set up processes, create efficiencies, and solve problems with little to no direction
Job Duties
- Manage food production for catering and retail food service outlets
- Help implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures
- Supervise, develop, and mentor frontline staff
- Assist with scheduling and time-keeping
