Job Requirements

  • Minimum education requirement - high school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Minimum management experience - 1 year

  • Experience managing food production and kitchen staff in a medium-sized foodservice operation
  • Strong background in inventory management, procurement, and supply control
  • Knowledge of food safety, physical safety, and regulatory compliance standards
  • Ability to supervise, prioritize, and support employees to meet operational goals

Job Duties

  • Manage food production through kitchen staff while overseeing inventory management and procurement of food and supplies
  • Utilize Sodexo resources, recipes, systems, and programs to direct daily operations including production, deliveries, invoices, and procurement
  • Ensure employees have the equipment, supplies, and resources needed to meet goals, cost controls, and deadlines
  • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing food and physical safety standards and ensuring compliance with Sodexo and regulatory requirements
  • Control costs related to labor, inventory, equipment, and materials while making adjustments to meet budget expectations
  • Supervise employees by delegating and prioritizing tasks and monitoring operating standards
