Job Requirements

  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to bend, knead, and lift heavy bags of baking ingredients up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work safely with hot ovens and baking equipment
  • must be able to work in a warm and fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous baking or food production experience preferred
  • knowledge of baking techniques and machinery
  • ability to follow recipes and production guidelines accurately
  • understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • strong attention to detail and quality control
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Create various baked goods such as donuts, breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, and pies
  • regulate oven and baking machinery performance to ensure accurate temperatures and perfect baking
  • monitor ingredient inventory levels and order supplies when needed
  • store ingredients properly to maintain freshness
  • implement hygiene practices through regular cleaning and sanitizing of tools, work areas, and utensils
  • conduct routine quality assessments of baked goods to ensure compliance with bakery standards for appearance, texture, and taste
