Job Requirements
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to bend, knead, and lift heavy bags of baking ingredients up to 50 pounds
- ability to work safely with hot ovens and baking equipment
- must be able to work in a warm and fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous baking or food production experience preferred
- knowledge of baking techniques and machinery
- ability to follow recipes and production guidelines accurately
- understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- strong attention to detail and quality control
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Create various baked goods such as donuts, breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, and pies
- regulate oven and baking machinery performance to ensure accurate temperatures and perfect baking
- monitor ingredient inventory levels and order supplies when needed
- store ingredients properly to maintain freshness
- implement hygiene practices through regular cleaning and sanitizing of tools, work areas, and utensils
- conduct routine quality assessments of baked goods to ensure compliance with bakery standards for appearance, texture, and taste
