The Food Production team at KFC of Polly's plays an integral role in the day-to-day operations by preparing and cooking menu items that meet established specifications and quality standards. This position is for dedicated individuals who are passionate about food preparation and take pride in their craftsmanship. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment where speed, accuracy, and attention to detail are critical. Food Production team members are expected to adhere strictly to KFC of Polly’s product specifications and procedures, ensuring that all food items leaving the kitchen meet the company’s quality benchmarks. Their duties include following food safety guidelines, monitoring product holding times using standardized systems, and maintaining equipment used in food preparation. This position also demands that team members maintain a safe and clean work area, restock necessary supplies, and ensure the kitchen operates efficiently throughout their shift. Beyond cooking, Food Production staff are responsible for operational tasks such as receiving deliveries, checking invoices, and assisting with general kitchen duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a food production or kitchen role preferred
- knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items that meet our specifications, procedures, and quality standards
- ensure that all product holding times are strictly observed by using the Time Tag system
- filter and clean all fryers at the designated times while following all guidelines of safety including the use of provided safety equipment
- maintain sufficient shortening to ensure proper shortening levels
- ensure dish sink is set up to wash, rinse, and sanitize
- maintain a safe and clean work area by following the guidelines/procedures of sanitation and safety
- verify all necessary products and supplies are stocked and available
- ensure floors remain free of obstacles, debris, and are kept dry
- receive orders, check invoices, and put deliveries away as needed
- perform any other duties as assigned by the manager in charge of the shift
