As a Food Preparer at Gate Gourmet, you will play a crucial role in the seamless preparation and packing of meals for various airlines. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to strict hygiene and safety standards, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment. The role demands compliance with federal regulations, including passing a 20-year background check through the FBI’s fingerprint-based Criminal History Records Check (CHRC). Working at Harry Reid International Airport, employees must be adaptable to variable schedules that may include weekends, holidays, and overtime.
In this important role, you will be responsible for assembling meal components according to exact airline specifications, maintaining production areas compliant with sanitation standards, and contributing to a supportive team atmosphere. Your duties will include following assembly diagrams and procedures, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation, and participating in continuous improvement efforts. The role also involves working in environments with varying temperatures, including cold rooms, and handling a variety of food products such as pork, poultry, meat, and fish. Physical stamina is essential as the position requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds regularly during an 8+ hours shift.

Job Qualifications
