Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in relevant culinary role
  • equivalent of 2-3 years post-high school education or relevant experience

Job Duties

  • develop menus and recipes including designing food selections and crafting culinary instructions
  • requisition or obtain required food items based on anticipated consumption
  • establish presentation techniques and quality standards
  • plan and price menus
  • safeguard kitchen equipment by maintaining and operating it correctly
  • maintain compliance with health and safety regulations by upholding sanitation and safety standards
  • oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction or demonstrations
