The Food Prep Worker II at Aramark plays a vital role in supporting cooks, chefs, and food service managers by preparing ingredients and assisting with other food service tasks. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain required food safety certification
  • previous food prep experience preferred
  • demonstrates basic math and counting skills
  • demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • able to meet physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing
  • willing to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment
  • willingness to adhere to food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Previous food prep experience preferred
  • knowledge of various food prep methods, proper knife handling, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage preferred
  • must be able to obtain required food safety certification

Job Duties

  • Prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
