As a Food Prep Worker, you will operate in a fast-paced kitchen environment where attention to detail, adherence to food safety protocols, and efficient workflow are paramount. Duties include preparing all food items according to prep lists and standardized recipes, following proper food handling procedures to minimize risks, and ensuring accurate rotation of food items to maintain freshness and quality. You will be responsible for managing leftover foods correctly by covering, labeling, dating, and storing items according to the company’s standards. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • minimum one year of food service or prep work experience preferred
  • ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
  • physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking
  • willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
  • ability to complete required training programs

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year prep work or food service-related work preferred
  • knowledge of food prep, proper knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation is helpful
  • must be able to read and write to facilitate communication with others
  • demonstrates basic math and counting skills
