Job Description

Aramark is a global leader in food service, facilities management, and uniform services, proudly serving millions of guests every day across 15 countries. The company is deeply rooted in service and united by a clear mission to do great things for its employees, partners, communities, and the planet. At Aramark, the work environment champions equal employment opportunity and inclusivity, ensuring that all employees, regardless of race, religion, gender, age, or any other protected status, have the freedom to contribute to every aspect of the company without discrimination. Aramark fosters a culture where employee growth is as vital as service delivery, making it a supportive place for career development and personal growth.

The Food Prep Worker role is an essential position within Aramark’s food service operations. This role requires the individual to prepare and portion food items accurately according to daily production requirements and standardized Aramark recipes. The position demands strict adherence to Aramark’s sanitation and food safety policies to ensure that all meals are cooked and handled properly. The Food Prep Worker must use daily worksheets and standardized recipes to maintain consistency and quality in meal preparation. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail when handling food rotation, proper storage, and managing leftovers to maintain freshness and reduce waste. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and organization at refrigerators and workstations, and ensuring that kitchen equipment and stations are sanitized and orderly at the end of each shift. Safety practices are a high priority; the worker must follow safety policies and report any accidents promptly. This role typically includes physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. It may also require the use of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain workplace safety and hygiene.

Working at Aramark, employees are encouraged to develop new skills and adapt as job responsibilities evolve to meet operational needs. The company emphasizes a team-oriented culture where job duties may shift or expand without formal notice to achieve a positive impact for employees and customers alike. This role is ideal for individuals who have some prior experience with food service or food preparation, possess knowledge of food safety protocols, and are committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Aramark offers a career path for those looking to grow professionally within a diverse and supportive work environment, fostering a sense of belonging while promising opportunities to work in a company that values both community and sustainability.
