Ian's Pizza prides itself on fostering an inclusive, friendly work environment where employees are encouraged to grow and thrive no matter where their career ambitions take them. Whether you are interested in advancing to a managerial position, trying a new career path, or simply exploring your options, Ian's Pizza is dedicated to providing a welcoming workplace where everyone can find a place to belong. The company embraces a culture grounded in its core values, the Big Five: Dependability, Awareness, Connection, Generosity, and Effort. This culture fuels a team-oriented environment where employees support each other and together contribute to the success and magic behind the scenes at Ian's pizza kitchens.
The role offered is a Prep and Production Cook position located within Ian's high-volume commissary kitchen. This role is essential in ensuring that all food products meet the company’s high cleanliness, quality, and packaging standards. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of food preparation tasks including washing, chopping, sautéing, boiling, mixing, peeling, packaging, and labeling ingredients and finished products. Flexible schedules are available for both part-time and full-time applicants, with a starting wage ranging from $16 to $18 per hour. There is also an additional $2 per hour premium for afternoon and Saturday shifts. This position offers a great opportunity to gain valuable kitchen experience while working in a dynamic, fun, and supportive environment dedicated to producing delicious food at scale.
In addition to competitive pay, the company provides full-time employees with health and dental insurance, paid time off, sick leave, and retirement benefits featuring up to a 3% company match. Other perks include free shift meals and a referral bonus of $250 when you introduce a new team member who joins the company. The kitchen operates on a schedule that balances early mornings and afternoons with shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The Prep and Production Cook role requires physical stamina, such as standing and walking for long periods and regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, which makes it an ideal fit for someone energetic and enthusiastic about contributing to a fast-paced kitchen environment. The company values employees who bring positive energy and strong team collaboration skills to every shift.
