As an organization deeply rooted in the heritage and wellbeing of its community, it ensures compliance with internal controls and policies that safeguard both its members and its guests. The tribe's hospitality segment manifests through venues like Northern Quest Resort & Casino, which is known for providing exceptional food and entertainment experiences. This blend of cultural authenticity and modern amenities creates an engaging environment for both employees and visitors. The role being offered centers on the bakery production team, responsible for assisting in all bakery-related preparations to deliver superior quality food products. This position is pivotal in ensuring that all bakery items meet the highest standards of preparation, presentation, and safety before reaching the guests. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Pastry Chef and other kitchen staff to manage the production flow – which includes fulfilling special event needs, maintaining inventory rotation to preserve product freshness, and consistently applying recipes and production procedures. This support function is critical in upholding the bakery's reputation for excellence and consistency, which ultimately impacts guest satisfaction and the overall brand image. Working in a high-volume bakery, the successful applicant is expected to adapt to diverse baking methods and exhibit a strong ability in kitchen operations improvement. They will comply rigorously with food safety and sanitation guidelines aligned with FDA standards, ensuring that every order is accurate and of superior quality. Although the position does not carry supervisory responsibilities, the individual will play a vital role as a team contributor and might be called upon as a panelist for internal review hearings. Employment with Kalispel Tribe of Indians offers an opportunity to work in a culturally rich and dynamic setting, where the culinary craft is highly respected and nurtured. The position requires flexibility with work hours, including availability during nights, weekends, and holidays. The work environment may expose the employee to various physical and environmental conditions, so stamina and adaptability are essential. Moreover, the organization encourages qualified candidates who are part of the Kalispel Tribe, their spouses, or enrolled members of other Indian tribes to apply, emphasizing its commitment to equitable hiring practices. This is a non-supervisory role that requires dedication, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality that aligns with the tribe’s distinguished standards.
