Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or preparation preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
- Basic math and labeling skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Prepare prep items according to Golden Corral product specifications and recipes
- Maintain a standard inventory of prep items and update guides as directed
- Ensure optimum yield of products through the product cycle
- Label, date, and rotate all bulk produce and prepped items
- Ensure all food items are stored in approved, covered containers
- Use and follow the buffet production system for quality and shelf life compliance
- Notify Manager of discrepancies such as food spoilage, invoice errors, or excessive waste
- Assist Buffet Attendant in maintaining a full, clean buffet
- Clean, maintain, and organize prep areas including coolers and dry storage
- Perform duty roster responsibilities ensuring cleanliness, service, and quality standards
- Follow local health department laws and safety procedures
- Perform administrative tasks and assist guests during meal periods
