Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food preparation or kitchen environment preferred
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food preparation or related role preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to follow recipes and production guidelines
  • strong attention to detail
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to lift and handle food products safely

Job Duties

  • prepares fresh fruits and vegetables according to product specifications and recipes
  • maintains standard inventory of prep items based on production guides
  • ensures optimum yield of products through the product cycle
  • labels, dates, and rotates all bulk produce and prepped items
  • stores all food items in approved covered containers
  • follows buffet production system for quality and shelf life compliance
  • reports discrepancies such as food spoilage or invoice errors to management
  • assists buffet attendant in maintaining full, clean buffet
  • cleans and organizes prep area, coolers, equipment, and dry storage
  • ensures cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met
  • follows local health department laws
  • performs administrative tasks and assists guests during meal periods
