With a strong emphasis on culture, inclusion, and sustainability, Sodexo fosters a workplace where employees are valued, respected, and encouraged to bring their authentic selves to work. The company champions equal employment opportunities and ensures a supportive environment for all team members regardless of background or personal characteristics.

Located at Alaska Airlines Lounges at LAX, Sodexo is looking for dedicated Food Prep Helpers to join their team full-time. This role offers an hourly wage of $25.59 and requires availability for varying shifts, with open availability preferred to meet operational demands. As a Food Prep Helper, your role is vital in supporting food preparation and service within a dynamic setting. Beyond food prep, you contribute to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere by delivering excellent customer service that enhances the overall guest experience. Responsibilities might also include basic cooking tasks such as preparing vegetables or chicken for salads. Attendance and punctuality are crucial as you contribute to the team by arriving reliably for scheduled shifts.

This position is ideal for individuals who are team-oriented, adaptable, and motivated to help maintain a safe and healthy working environment. Candidates with little to no experience are welcomed, although some related experience is beneficial. Sodexo brings a supportive work environment with opportunities for training, development, and career advancement, making this a promising role for those seeking stability and growth within the food services industry.

Sodexo also offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports employee well-being and work-life balance. This includes paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as tuition reimbursement, 401k retirement plans, discounts, and other perks. Depending on the location, employees might also receive meals during shifts, uniforms, safety shoes, public transportation support, and parking benefits, ensuring a well-rounded employment experience.

Sodexo values the diversity and individuality of each team member. The company fosters an inclusive culture where ideas and opinions are respected, enabling employees to thrive and contribute effectively as part of a cohesive team. Working with Sodexo means being part of a greater purpose to create a better everyday for everyone, in a role that allows you to make a positive impact one meal at a time, especially in an important travel hub like the Alaska Airlines Lounges at LAX.
