Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company proudly operates iconic brands including Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck’s Arcade, providing lively and memorable experiences to families and communities across the globe. CEC Entertainment manages nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, focusing on creating fun environments where children can be kids and families can enjoy quality time together. Chuck E. Cheese alone celebrates over half a million birthdays annually and is dedicated to building joyful memories through a combination of food, play, and entertainment. The company is deeply committed to safety and community engagement, demonstrated through programs like Kid Check and substantial donations totaling more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits.

CEC Entertainment values diversity and inclusion, fostering a workplace culture that welcomes varying backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. The company has received awards for innovation and employee well-being, including the "Best in STEM" award and recognition as one of America's Greatest Workplaces in 2025. These accolades highlight CEC Entertainment’s commitment not only to customer satisfaction but also to creating a positive and supportive environment for its employees.

The current opportunity is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions within the company’s no-fry kitchen. These roles are essential to maintaining the quality and efficiency of food preparation while supporting the playful, family-friendly atmosphere that Chuck E. Cheese is known for. Food Prep and Pizza Makers assist in preparing orders, making pizzas, salads, and wings, ensuring that all food offerings meet high standards of safety and taste. The position supports the company’s unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, which provides employees access to their earned wages promptly, eliminating the wait between paychecks. This initiative reflects CEC Entertainment’s dedication to employee satisfaction and financial well-being.

This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in a dynamic and supportive environment, especially first-time job seekers eager to learn and grow. CEC Entertainment promotes from within; more than 60% of their managers have advanced through internal opportunities, showcasing the career potential within the company. Working in these kitchen roles requires physical stamina to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds and the ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform other physical tasks throughout a shift. Additionally, employees must thrive in an energetic environment characterized by flashing lights, sounds, and interactive experiences.

CEC Entertainment stands out not only for its commitment to fun and family entertainment but also for its comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan. The company also supports its workforce with job training and career growth opportunities, ensuring each team member has the tools and support needed for success. With competitive hourly wages ranging from $15.00 to $16.00, and commission opportunities based on sales of memberships and fun passes, employees face both financial incentives and engaging work. This comprehensive approach ensures that employees feel valued, supported, and motivated to contribute to the company’s mission of creating the best place for kids and families to eat and play.
