Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating joyful and lasting memories through fun, food, and play. The company is deeply committed to fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and safety, making it the perfect place for families and children to gather and enjoy quality time together. Chuck E. Cheese is renowned for celebrating over half a million birthdays annually and has been recognized for its leadership in both innovation and employee well-being, especially after receiving the “Best in STEM” award and being named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025. Their commitment to safety is demonstrated through initiatives such as the Kid Check® program and community support that has included more than $24 million donated to schools and nonprofits.
As a rapidly growing family entertainment provider, CEC Entertainment offers vibrant work environments that provide opportunities for career development and personal growth. They emphasize empowerment and team collaboration, with a strong internal promotion culture where more than 60% of their managers have been promoted from within. The company offers multiple benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability coverage, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan to eligible employees, alongside structured job training and career advancement opportunities. Additionally, Chuck E. Cheese is a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" employer, providing access to wages earned without having to wait between paychecks, which supports financial flexibility for their workforce.
The role currently available at CEC Entertainment is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers who help feed the excitement by preparing food orders reliably and quickly in a clean, no-fry kitchen environment. The position involves easy preparation of items such as pizza, salads, and wings, ensuring high food quality while maintaining safety and sanitation standards. Ideal candidates will bring enthusiasm, a strong customer service orientation, and flexibility to work various shifts. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, bend, and move actively throughout the shift. The environment can include exposure to loud noises, flashing and flickering lights, and moving mechanical parts, requiring employees to manage job stress efficiently and interact positively with guests and coworkers.
Compensation for this role ranges from $16.94 to $17.94 hourly. Furthermore, there are commission potentials dependent on employment classification; exempt employees can earn commissions from $0.50 to $10 for each Membership sold and $0.15 to $3 for each Fun Pass sold. Non-exempt employees have a commission range from $2 to $8 for Memberships sold and $0.60 to $2.40 for Fun Pass sales. Commissions are paid out bi-weekly, providing an additional earning opportunity. Job applicants must be at least 16 years old (except where restricted by state or local laws), have excellent customer service skills, and an energetic and enthusiastic personality.
CEC Entertainment offers a supportive work culture that deeply values diversity and inclusion, encouraging applications from individuals of all backgrounds. The company complies with all state and local laws regarding paid sick leave and offers reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. Employees benefit from telemedicine, early wage access, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources, creating an enriching working environment.
